The Mission Viejo Pateadores is proud to present the 12th Annual PATS CUP. The tournament will be held on July 24th thru the 26th, 2010. The Pats Cup is a Class 1 Tournament open to FIFA and USSF affiliated teams.

We accept all USSF National Association Player Passes.  Teams using Cal South and US Club player passes do not need travel papers. The PATS CUP has obtained the appropriate insurance poliicies to cover these teams without the necessity of travel papers.  USYS Teams from outside Southern California and all AYSO teams will need travel papers.

For those of you who are not familiar with the PATS CUP, it is one of the finest tournaments offered in Southern California.   It is designed to offer every competitive level of soccer teams the opportunity to play in a competitive tournament geared to their level of play.  Last year we hosted 30 different flights.  We hosted brand new teams, mid-level teams and the most highly competitive teams in the United States.  Every team was bracketed in a Flight specifically designed for their competitive level and trophies and medals were provided the Champions and Finalist in all 30 Flights.

We play on the finest fields in Orange County, we have contracted with the finest hotels, and we host the best managers/coaches check in you can imagine.  This tournament is fun for everyone.  Our tournament is truly a family event.

If you have played in the PATS CUP before, we hope to see you again this year.  If you haven't and you select our tournament , you will have one of the best soccer weekends you have ever enjoyed.

The following information is just a "snap shot" of the Pat Cup Rules and Information regarding the Tournament. Please take the time to thoroughly review all sections of this website. This website has been developed to answer all of your questions and hopefully convey to you our desire to afford your team and its family members a truly emorable tournament.

Games will be played throughout all of Southern California. From as far South as the San Juan Capistrano Polo Fields , as far West as UCI and as far North as Huntington Beach. All of our fields are exceptional.

Each Team will be scheduled a minimum of 3 games.

Pats Cup 2010 Tournament Rules are available here. Prestigious team trophies as well as individual medals will be presented to the teams finishing in 1st and 2nd place.

2010 Age Groups Boys and Girls

U-19 born on or after 8/1/91
U-17 born on or after 8/1/93

U-16 born on or after 8/1/94
U-15 born on or after 8/1/95
U-14 born on or after 8/1/96

U-13 born on or after 8/1/97

U-12 born on or after 8/1/98
U-11 born on or after 8/1/99
U-10 born on or after 8/1/00
U-09 born on or after 8/1/01

In any age group where there are two flights, the tournament committee alone will determine into which group teams will be placed.

If you wish to APPLY FOR PARTICIPATION in Pats Cup 2010, please follow the on-line registration instructions or download and print the Application and return the completed application following the instructions printed on the application itself. The Application must be received by the Tournament Committee on or before July 6, 2010. Acceptances will begin being e-mailed by July 7th. Early acceptance for those teams outside Southern California may be granted to those requesting this consideration.

Tournament Fees: U-9 thru U-10 $575 U-11 thru U-19 $695

Teams using hotel rooms are required to obtain them from our approved hotels, using the group reservation procedure established by The Pats Cup and our hotel partners before their acceptance into The Pats Cup 2010 becomes final. The approved hotel list and procedure is available on this website. We have over 1,200 hotel rooms reserved for Pats Cup participants and are all conveniently located to the fields and centered around all Pat Cup 2010 activities.

There will be a MANDATORY REGISTRATION on Friday, July 23rd for all teams. Please go to our "GENERAL INFORMATION" section and review the Registration Meeting information. 2009-2010 or 2010-2011 player identification cards and medical release forms are required.

Unlimited LOANED PLAYERS will be allowed for all teams. Please see Pat Cup Rules for 2010.

PLEASE REMEMBER THESE IMPORTANT FACTS:

As you complete this application and make your payment online, your application is considered complete and your team will be considered for acceptance into the tournament. Making your payment does NOT guarantee acceptance into the tournament. You will receive confirmation that a payment has been received.  This is not an acceptance notification into the tournament. The Pats Cup, while trying to be equitable in it's team selections, reserves complete jurisdiction of the teams that are selected for whatever reasoning.
